Montreal Winter Workshop 2024

For over 15 years, Hungarian folk dance and music enthusiasts have been gathering in Montreal every February to learn to improvise folk dances and music.
After a long pandemic pause, we’re so glad to bring back the workshop in person, at the centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, à l’île Perrot!
We are so excited to welcome for the very first time in Montreal Kristóf Fundák and Lili Kaszai! They will be teaching dances from Magyarózdi!
Also directly from Hungary, we’re happy to welcome back Tamás Nyitrai and Attila Mihó (violon), as well as Endre Papp (kontra), for the first time at Montreal Winter workshop. Our very own and Gyanta band members Levente Garda and Attila Kraznai will also be joining us.
